Our TV remote operates like an Apple TV remote: Use the arrows or touchpad (depending on your remote model) to navigate up-and-down or left-to-right to select your favorite TV stations, apps, or other content. Melvyn’s Restaurant & Casablanca Lounge
The unabashed swagger of Melvyn’s is more understated than when women arrived in stilettos and Halston dress back in the ’70s. But we still dress for elegance. Offering mountain views and surrounded by lush lawn and historic bungalows, Regency Pool is a relaxed and cool spot to spend an afternoon. Just past the pool, find Estrella’s hot tub waiting, with nearby daybed mattresses and comfy pillows for lounging. *Adults 18 & older only.
Presidio Pool at Avalon Palm Springs
Avalon’s gated Presidio Pool is our most discreet——a secluded backyard dream with private cabanas and hedges all around.

A velvet sofa makes a fine perch for fireplace cocktails and moody musings in the living room and lobby lounge. Located off the front courtyard, this lively salon forms the heart of our hacienda, providing both indoor and back veranda seating for hotel guests.

Hike to a waterfall oasis at Tahquitz Canyon: This two-mile loop leads to a 50-foot waterfall tucked into Tahquitz Canyon. The falls are located within the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians reservation.

Check in time is after 4:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am. Arriving early or need that extra hour of sleep? We’ll do our very best to accommodate you (based on availability) – just let us know in advance. If we can’t, we’ll gladly stow your luggage safely and securely, until you’re ready to move on. Late check out fees may apply. If you check out or leave before your scheduled departure date, there is a fee of one night’s stay plus tax.
Ingleside Estate is a partially non-smoking hotel. Smoking is allowed outdoors in the public areas, but not in the guest rooms or Melvyn’s. A smoking cleaning fee of $400 will be assessed in the event smoking does occur in the guest rooms.
We love your furry friends and they are definitely welcome at Ingleside Estate. With every pet stay, Proper will help a pet in need. 10% of your pet fee gets donated to the Best Friends Animal Society.

New Reservations:
For guests making new reservations for arrival dates on or after June 1, 2021, guests must cancel by 3PM, 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one night’s room and tax.
Existing Reservations:
For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, the policies that were in place at the time of reservation, or as previously communicated, will continue to be honored. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences. You can modify your existing reservation in the booking engine (below the calendar, bottom right – select “Modify/Cancel Reservation”) or by contacting our teams.
